Dubai Canvas 3D Art Award

The Dubai Canvas 3D Art Award is the world’s first award that recognises creative excellence in 3D art. The award, which is worth AED 2.3 million (US$650,000) in prize money, was launched at the second Dubai Canvas Festival in March 2016.

3D artists all over the world are invited to enter the award by submitting works depicting their interpretations of the award theme for that respective year.

A jury comprised of renowned international and local artists then evaluates the submissions to name three winners. There are also awards for two special categories: ‘Best Emirati Participation’ and ‘People’s Choice’.

For this award, the nominees are selected based on the artwork they submit via the Brand Dubai website and email. The lucky winners are then announced at the end of the festival.
